Xi Zhengde: Relationships

Overview | History | Relationships

Xi Zhengde

Xi Ping was Xi Zhengde's son. Through Xi Ping's adolescense and young adulthood, Xi Zhengde remained easily angered by his antics. After Xi Ping's stunt at the final Flower Viewing Festival, Xi Zhengde was so furious he was left doubled over, struggling to speak.1

Xi Zhengde once called Xi Ping a "fiend."1

Zhou Ying

Zhou Ying was Xi Zhengde's nephew—his younger sister's son. Xi Zhengde treated Zhou Ying mindfully with respect to his high status as prince. Xi Ping took advantage of this mindfulness to do things such as hide out at Prince Zhuang Manor when he got in trouble, as his father was unwilling to beat down a prince's front door to chase him.
