The Soul Calling Melody is a song featured in Tai Sui by Priest. It was a traditional melody sung during funerals in rural parts of Ning'an.1
When Wang Baochang's corpse was found standing near an alley in Jinping at the start of the fourth month of Taiming 28, its last act before falling still and dead was to sing the Soul Calling Melody. The voice it sang with was horse and shrill, like the caw of a crow.1
